Two Woburn students, Mallorie Mullaney (WHS)/Lrg Junior Level 5 and Reilly Medeiros (JFK Middle School)/Senior Level 3, representing East Celebrity Elite (ECE) from Tewksbury, MA, became the first and only athletes from Woburn to WIN the 2013 NCA/NDA All-Star National Championship at the Dallas Convention Center this past weekend.  The top prize is the covenant “BLACK National Championship Jacket.”

This 2-Day 2013 event is the largest championship IN THE WORLD with over 22,000 cheerleaders and dancers. The 995 total teams and expected 30,000 spectators have traveled to Dallas from five countries and three continents for this spectacular competition of technical skills, choreography, and teamwork.  The Championship is televised on CBS Sports Network sometime in April 2013.  The NCA Championship divisions separate teams by skill level, age, number of athletes, All-Girl or Coed designations, and includes the crowd favorite Special Needs division.

Please congratulate these two young ladies on an incredible performance and WIN by both teams!
