Cerena (Franchini) Morse, 91, passed away at the Hearthstone Alzheimer’s Care Center in Woburn on Friday Evening, August 17. She was the wife of the late Grant E. Morse, retired Chief of the Salisbury Police Department.
Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Anthony, and the late Augusta (Rae) Franchini. Mrs. Morse had lived in previously lived in Barefoot Bay, Florida and Salisbury, Massachusetts. She had owned and operated the Tawney Beauty Salon in the South End of Woburn for 20 years prior to her retirement. Cerena was a talented artist and painter.
Cerena is survived by two sons, Jon Cierri and his wife Elizabeth, and Anthony Cierri and his wife Cynthia; and one daughter, Catherine Lindblom and her late husband. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Wednesday, August 29 at 10:00 am. Burial will be private, at a later date in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to Life Choice Hospice, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Ste.390, Waltham, MA 02451.
