Conservation Day is Saturday, May 5

Text provided by the Conservation Commission:

The Woburn Conservation Commission with the help of WREN will be holding its annual Conservation Day event on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

The event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:00pm.
The sign-in table will be at the Cove Street entrance to the Horn Pond Conservation Area.

All are welcome to come, help out, enjoy and appreciate the area. It is a great day to meet your neighbors, old friends and make some new ones! You can make a difference.

For students seeking community service credit hours - make sure that you let us know at the sign-in table that you will be needing certification that you participated so that you get credited.

This year's anticipated projects include:

Clean-up of winter debris along trails
Cutting of brush overhanging trails
General trash pick up
And more...

The Woburn Lions Club will be serving lunch at 1 for all volunteers!

Please come join us for a day to get things done and have some fun!
