FREE lunches at the Green Street Pool

The North Suburban YMCA is again sponsoring the Summer Food Program at the Green Street Pool. Each week, Monday through Friday, children and teens 18 and under can stop by the Green Street pool for a free healthy lunch beginning June 20th.  “We’re committed to this socially responsible program. This is our forth year running the program for the Woburn community and we feel that the need has grown,” commented YMCA Administrator Claire McNally. The meals are composed of USDA qualified lunches and include a fruit, vegetable, and milk each day. Lunches will be served until August 17th. There will also be no food program on July 4th. There is no application or documentation needed to receive the free lunch. The lunches will be provided to all children and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided from 11:30am-12:30pm.  For more information on the free lunch program, contact Claire McNally at 781.935.3270 extension 207.
