Volunteers are needed to help the Woburn Community Garden.
There are two to four garden plots set up in 2011 to help raise fresh produce for the city's food pantry. Now, those plots need tending!

Wouldn’t asking for community garden volunteers within the client populace of The Council of Social Concern agency help individuals develop their potential? Wouldn’t it help create a positive relationship within the extended family at the council of social concern, especially, those who use the food pantry. Furthermore, by volunteering to help raise fresh produce for their food pantry, it would help stop a system of idleness and promote dignity. Helping at the community garden would be like a head of a household repairing a fence or mending a garment in exchange of needed food for the family back in the depression? According to the Woburn’s Community Garden program, a minimum of five hours a week in needed to care for and maintain a garden plot. Asking the client populace of the Council of Social Concern to volunteer should be the priority for the garden plots.
