The Hurld School's Math Bee fundraiser* raised over $10,000, announced school officials Feb. 14.
According to the Hurld School website, students and parents raised over $10,000 for the school's parent-teacher organization.
The money will be put toward the PTO's operating budget.
Many programs are sponsored or paid for by the PTO, including enrichment assemblies.
Principal Eileen Mills said, "Thank you to Mrs. Ragini Pathak for spearheading this fundraiser, as well as all of the parent volunteers who have come into the classrooms, collected donations, and all of the other things that go along with helping to make this so successful!"

Congratulations! I'm so happy that the PTO Ideas' Educational Spelling Challenge has helped your school raise so much for a 2nd year in a row. And I love that you've adapted it to a Math Challenge. Great job! - Vicki, PTO Ideas, http://www.ptoideas.com
