Social Capital Inc. (SCI) is currently seeking new committee members to help plan for the eleventh year of the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series. These concerts are one of the most anticipated and highly attended events in Woburn each summer.

On select Fridays throughout the summer, an assortment of bands representing a variety of musical genres will entertain crowds of people gathered at Ice House Park. In the past, there have been Irish bands, Caribbean bands, Blues bands and many more.

The concerts are a perfect way to bring community members together to enjoy good music and good company beside the beautiful Horn Pond. Due to the generous support of local businesses, the concerts are free to the public.

If you are a music enthusiast or just looking to get involved in the Woburn community, we invite you to become a member of the Summer Concert Series Committee. As a member of the committee, you will help pick the bands that entertain crowds this summer as well as help with other logistical aspects. The Woburn Summer Concert Series is coordinated by SCI, the North Suburban YMCA, WREN (Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network) and the Woburn DPW.
