Shaw’s Supermarkets is pleased to announce that Sarah O’Brien, of Woburn Memorial High School in Woburn, MA has been selected as a recipient of a Shaw’s scholarship in the amount of $1000.

Sarah will be attending Providence College in Providence, RI and pursuing a major in Creative Writing.  She is the daughter of Sheila and Hugh O’Brien.

Shaw’s / Star Markets have been offering scholarships to its outstanding students for over 40 years. Recipients of these scholarships demonstrate high scholastic achievements, high standards of job performance and a potential to succeed in college.
