Woburn Memorial High Yearbook Staff Recognized by Publishing Company
Mrs. Susan Thifault and Mrs. Michelle Getherall, Innitou yearbook advisors at Woburn Memorial High School, are pleased to announce that the 2012 yearbook staff has received special recognition from the Herff Jones Publishing Company in Gettysburg, PA.
Press release from Susan Thifault:
For the third year in a row the yearbook staff was the first to submit pages into the plant out of 300 schools that the Gettysburg plant services. Gettysburg received the pages in late September.
Staff members are Shauna Fumicello, Hao Mach, Nancy Tran, Kathryn Thifault, Emily Dunnigan, Taylor Platon and Alexandra Chapman.
Due to strict guidelines, the yearbook staff has been working since the spring of their junior year, and with this staff they have chosen to work six days a week!
“We have been working on the pages every day in school and for the last four Saturday mornings," said Thifault.
"This years’ staff has custom designed pages that no other staff has ever done. These pages have so much detail that the class of 2012 will be thrilled to receive the book at the yearbook ceremony in May. They are such an enthusiastic team that working for five hours on a Saturday is truly fun for them. I am amazed at their work ethic and team chemistry. We love working with them.”
“Every year we challenge the staff to make their book a unique perspective of their time at Woburn High and each staff brings a special quality to the book,” said Mrs. Getherall.
This staff expects to turn out over 225 pages by February with a May 2012 delivery. The entire book is designed on the software Adobe In Design.
Mrs. Susan Happel, Herff Jones representative to Woburn, sent along this message: “Congratulations Woburn, I am so proud of all of you.”
