1) Morning showers, high winds

Looks like a gray and windy day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect showers and a possible thunderstorm this morning followed by fog and cloudy skies. There will be a west wind between 21 and 29 miles per hour with gusts as high as 55 mph. High temperature near 41 degrees. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 25.

2) Public meetings

The Woburn Board of Assessors is meeting at 4 p.m. in Woburn City Hall, Assessor Office. The Woburn Board of Health is meeting at 4:30 p.m. in Woburn City Hall, Board of Health Conference Room. The Woburn Housing Authority is meeting at 7 p.m. in the 59 Campbell Street Community Room.

3) Thinking Cap? Check!

  Tanner Tavern's Thursday Night Trivia will start at 8 p.m. tonight. Head over to Main Street for Stump Trivia and you and your team (or just you!) can compete for prizes.

4) Event Spotlight

Do you like your food in miniature? Who doesn't! Head on over to Masa Southwest Bar and Grill in the Horn Pond Plaza. They have 50-cent tapas all night on Thursdays this summer!

5) Environmentally-friendly energy

The regional environmental group Green Group Boston is holding a presentation on green energy at 6:30 p.m. in the Burlington Public Library, 22 Sears St.
