Five things to know today.
Today is Feb. 22. Here are five things to know:
1) Sunny skies
Looks like a clear day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 38 degrees. Increasing clouds tonight with a low around 26.
2) Blood drive
Keypoint Partners LLC. is sponsoring a blood drive for the Red Cross at the Woburn Mall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. All donors will receive a coupon for a free lunch pack at Cumberland Farms. To make an appointment call 1-800-RedCross or visit redcrossblood.org. Walk-in also welcome.
3) Movie with Grandma and Grampa
The Woburn Senior Center is holding an "intergenerational movie" event at 10 a.m. this morning.
4) Relay for Life Fundraising Party
Christy Gibbons Nickerson and Kristy Canada Russell are having a fundraiser to benefit Woburn's Relay for Life at 7 p.m. at the Sons of Italy. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Join them for music, dancing, cash bar, raffles, silent auction (featuring items from Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox) food and fun. Click here for more information.
5) Live Music
Polcari's Restaurant is holding live music by the acoustic duo "Two For The Road" at 8:30 p.m. tonight. They will be playing Classic Rock and other music from the 80's to now.
