1) Rainy but warm
Looks like a good day to help melt away the snow piles. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain today, mainly after 11 a.m. High temperature near 54 degrees. Shower likely tonight with a low around 38 degrees.
2) Public meetings
The Woburn Planning Board is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Woburn City Hall Council Chambers. The Woburn School Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.
3) Wear your Bruins gear
Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is offering 15 percent of you bill if you dine while wearing your Boston Bruins gear on game days. The Bruins are playing the Islanders at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
4) Fun run
The Boston Sports Club is holding its weekly 5K run with registration at 5:30 p.m. and the running starts at 6:30 p.m. The run begins and ends at On the Border. Click here for more information.
5) Blood drive
The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 1:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Burlington American Legion, 162 Winn St. Do your part and donate today and give the gift of life.
