5T: Girl Scout Cookie Sale, Foam Sword Fun and School Vacation

Five things to know today.

 

Today is Feb. 18. Here are five things to know:

1) Sunny but cold

Looks like a cool and blustery day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a high near 32 degrees. It will be windy with gusts as high as 38 miles per hour and wind chill values as low as -2 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 21 degrees.

 

2) Holiday closings

City offices and other instituations are closed today in observation of President's Day. Click here for a full list of what is opened and closed.

 

3) School vacation

Woburn Public Schools will be closed this week for winter break.

 

4) Girl Scout cookies

Woburn Brownie Girl Scout Troops will be selling Girl Scout cookies, including the new Mango Cremes, at Stop & Shop Pharmacy from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

 

5) Foam sword fun

Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship & NERF in Burlington is holding vacation week sessions this week. This morning they are holding a foam sword adventure for children ages 6 and up. Click here for more information.
