5T: Live Music, Baby Boot Camp and Another Day of Frigid Weather

Five things to know in Woburn today.

 

Today is Jan. 24. Here are five things you need to know:

1) Cloudy and cold

The frigid weather continues. According to the National Weather Service we can expect increasing clouds with a high near 20 degrees. Wind chill values today as low as -18. Light snow likely tonight with accumulation of less than an inch. Overnight low around 13.

 

2) Live entertainment

Polcari's Restaurant is holding live entertainment in their lounge starting at 8:30 p.m. this evening.

 

3) Tu Bishvat Seder Party

Temple Shalom Emeth in Burlington is holding a Tu Bishvat Seder Party at 6:30 p.m. From the event posting: "Join us for a fun seder to celebrate Tu Bishvat, the New Year For the Trees. We eat a variety of fruits and drink grape juice, sing, read about trees and nature all sitting around tables in our social hall."

 

4) Baby boot camp

The Winchester Recreation Department, 263 Main St., Winchester, is holding a Baby Boot Camp for Winchester and Woburn mothers at 9:30 a.m. this morning. Baby Boot Camp is an innovative stroller-fitness program that helps moms regain or enhance pre-pregnancy fitness levels and meet the physical challenges of parenting by emphasizing strength training in a supportive environment. Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is featuring live music from Mama Kicks starting at 9 p.m. tonight.
