Five things to know in Woburn today.

 

Today is Feb. 14. Here are five things to know:

1) Cloudy but mild

Looks like a gray but relatively warm day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly cloudy skies through the morning that will gradually clear later in the day. High temperature near 44 degrees. Cloudy tonight with a low around 31.

 

2) Public meeting

The Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School District is meeting at 7 p.m. in the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School District, Conference Room.

 

3) Ladies Night Out

Perfect for Valentine's Day. Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill is holding a Ladies Night Out from 7 p.m. to midnight tonight. Buy one entree get the second free for all ladies.  Free chocolate covered strawberries and free chair messages by Elements.  Live bands, door prizes and much more.

 

4) Valentine's Concert

Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield is holding a Valentine's Day concert "Rags to Riches: a Valentine Concert" at 7 p.m. this evening. Musical theatre favorite Leigh Barrett joins the New England Tenors for a program with a broader definition of the sentiment, adding songs about the love of family, country and life itself to the love of couples. Cost is $30.

 

5) Thinking Cap? Check!

 Tanner Tavern's Thursday Night Trivia will start at 8 p.m. tonight. Head over to Main Street for Stump Trivia and you and your team (or just you!) can compete for prizes.
