Adopt Marlon, a Cuddle Bug Disguised as a Cat
Marlon is looking for a new home. Could it be yours?
I know I look silly in this lion cut, but you would not judge a cat by his hairdo, would you? I mean, I am not even really a cat. My true essence is cuddle-bug. I may have a few cat characteristics, but mostly I just channel “pet me, rub my belly, pet me some more.”
Ok, I know you want to hear more about me, so here goes. I am staying at a nice foster home with two wonderful children and two adults. They are giving me tons of attention, which I love, love, love. When they are not adoring me, I hang out at the window watching the birds. I don’t want to get out there, but I do have an active fantasy life. I like to play with the laser pointer and I enjoy cozying up in small spaces, behind the sofa pillows, in my kitty condo, and the like. I am not a lap cat, although maybe I could learn to be one if you wanted that. I do like to snooze on the bed. In fact, I like to sleep there at night, right near my peoples’ hands so they can keep petting me all night long. I am not annoying about wanting to be touched, but I do enjoy as much as they will give.
When my hair grows back, I will be a beautiful, black cat with soft, medium-length hair, a bushy tail and stunning green eyes. . I am young, only four years old, so still playful, but not a nut like those crazy kittens everyone seems to fawn over. I promise never to dive bomb your feet at night or attack your ankles when you walk around the house.
While I would prefer a house without other pets, I am open to a discussion about my living with another nice cat if you had one. I do want a home where I will get lots of attention because I am a cuddle bug. I don’t care whether you are a family or a single as long as you are patient while I get to know you and while you get to know me. And, don’t worry, I will do the talking if you are too shy to start conversation. If this sounds good to you, please call me. I am not an impatient sort, but I really do want to get to my ultimate cuddle destination at your house.
Oh, my name is Marlon, but you can call me whatever you want…just call me! Please?
