What Time Are The Flag Day Fireworks?

You asked, Patch answered!

It's that time of year—time for the city's annual Flag Day celebration! Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, the two-day carnival is eagerly anticipated by Woburnites young and old, and residents from other communities.

The complete schedule for the carnival, held at Library Park across the street from the police station, is:

Friday, June 15—"Family Night"

Carnival/rides: 6 to 10 p.m.

A $15 bracelet buys you unlimited rides. Also, "block-party" style music for all ages.

Saturday, June 16—

Carnival/rides: 4 to 10 p.m.

DJ Kevin Gary: 5 to 10 p.m.

Four of Woburn Memorial High School's "top" bands: 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The Sweet Adelines: 7 to 7:30 p.m.

B Street Bombers: 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Mayor Scott Galvin's Welcome Address: 9 p.m.

National Anthem (performed by Donna Nagle): 10 p.m.
