ARREST LOG: Man With "Massachusetts Special Police Officer" Badge Arrested

An excerpt from the Woburn Police Department's June 17-19 police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

June 17 –

At 2:33 p.m., Dennis D. Carney, 30, of 2 Crescent Ave., was arrested and charged on an outstanding warrant. According to police, Carney was taken into custody while being served with an active restraining order at his home.

At 3:30 p.m., Stacy M. Richardson, 29, of 184 Mishawum Road, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot). According to police, Richardson allegedly kicked the victim on the thigh and in the head, before fleeing the scene. Richardson was taken into custody at the Woburn Police Station; she had gone there after the incident.

June 18 –

At 12:35 a.m., Edward Fitzgerald Hassell, 44, of 242 N. Beacon St. Apt. #100 in Brighton, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance (oxycodone), possession of a Class E substance (hydrocodone) and an outstanding warrant. Hassell was taken into custody after police learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and saw him outside a Main Street restaurant. According to police, Hassell was carrying a badge that said “Commonwealth of Massachusetts Special Police Officer" at the time of his arrest. 

At 6:24 a.m., Michael Stephen Greco, 19, of 11 Parkview Road, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

June 19 –

At 4:27 a.m., Joshua Andrew Westfall, 22, of 5 Kimball Court Apt. #310, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness.

At 10:07 p.m., Yeison D. Reynoso, 18, of 11 Hampden Place Apt. #3 in Lynn, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime (felony charge), possession of a burglarious instrument and malicious destruction of property under $250. According to police, Reynoso was taken into custody after a brief chase in the Hilton Hotel parking lot. Police said that Reynoso had possession of a bolt cutter and a cut padlock, which was used on a storage room containing new television sets. Police were called to the scene when employees reported someone trying to steal items from the hotel. Police noted in Reynoso’s arrest report that he was not a guest or employee of the hotel at the time of the incident.

At 10:46 p.m., Kevin Michael Dapedra, 30, of 184 Salem St., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
