ARREST LOG: Men Argue in Bathroom, Cup Thrown

An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. The arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department  log.  Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Sept. 21 –

At 2:26 p.m., Kyle M. Henry, 25, of 13 Richardson St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and an outstanding warrant. According to police, officers were called to Kohl’s for a report of shoplifting after an employee witnessed Henry place a bottle of cologne in his pocket. Police reported that Henry paid for a package of socks, but not the cologne. He was stopped by an employee in the parking lot and returned the merchandise. He was taken into custody on the shoplifting charge and an additional, unrelated warrant.

Sept. 22 –

At 1:15 a.m., John R. Ricci Jr., 52, of 42 Liberty Ave., was arrested and charged with assault and battery (domestic) and assault. According to police, officers were called to Liberty Avenue for a report of two men fighting inside a residence. When police arrived, they found the two men arguing in the bathroom. Both men were uncooperative and told police there was no problem, said officers. Police reported witnesses said the men physically argued after one left a bar without Ricci. Police also reported that Ricci allegedly threw a full cup of soda at a person in the home.

At 6:49 p.m., Charles M. Casey, 41, was arrested and charged with assault and battery (domestic) and an outstanding warrant. According to police, a caller reported witnessing a man strike a person in the back of the head while the victim was walking on Lexington Street. The victim also reported the incident to police. Police apprehended Casey, who was reportedly combative with officers. Casey was taken into custody.
