The Woburn E2 Trojans sponsored by the Woburn Irish American traveled to Waltham for their second game of the season and boy it was another great day for a game. The sun was shining and the boys were ready to play some football.

The captains of the game today were Patrick Malloy, Bobby Lafferty, Liam Nasar and Symon Sathler.

The offense started off the game which included Symon Sathler, Bobby Lafferty, Steven (Biggs) Danizio, Devin O’ Connor, Sean Lafferty, Dennis Gouveia, Dylan Galex, James Breeden, Zachary Roderick, Liam Nasar, Chase Flaherty, Paul Lussiano, Sean Venzia, Gary Silva and the starting quarterback Patrick Malloy. The boys made made a couple of great plays and it didn’t take long for the offense to get some points on the board with Bobby Lafferty scoring the first touchdown for the E2 Team and Patrick Malloy getting the extra point giving Woburn a 7-0 lead over Waltham.

The defense then took the field which consisted of Aidan O’ Connor, Jayden Connors, Leyland Stack, Jackson Young, Dennis Gouveia, Benjamin Dubrovskiy,Jayden Whitmer, Michael Connors and Liam Nasar. The defense started things off great with Paul Lussiano causing Waltham to fumble the ball and set the tone for the rest of the game and gave the ball right back to Woburn.

Going into the half The Woburn E2 Team were up 7-0 and now Steven (Biggs) Danizio  was our quarterback. And yet again with a pass by Danizio, Bobby Lafferty ran 75 yards to score another touchdown for the E2 Team. There were multiple big plays and sacks made by Symon Sathler, Patrick Malloy, Bobby Lafferty, Dennis Gouveia  & Liam Nasar.

Our boys had a great game and ended it with  HUGE win of 13-6. WhooWee…….E Squad!!!!! 1,2,3…. Woburn!!!!!
