A video of the police caravan of roughly 40 cruisers heading down to Virginia to bring cards to a boy with cancer yesterday.
This morning hundreds of police officers, including members of the Woburn Police Department, met Nathan Norman, a six-year-old with brain cancer.
Like most little boys, Nathan loves to watch cops, firemen and EMT's speed to calls in shiny cars and trucks —sirens blaring and lights flashing —making no stops as they race to save people.
This Christmas, Nathan called upon these heroes to make his wish come true by sending him cards, letters and patches —anything with a first responder insignia.
Police from around New England decided to do more than just send cards. They traveled in a caravan down to Nathan's hometown of Rustburg, Virginia to meet the little guy in person and make his Christmas wish come true in a big way.
Check out this video sent in by Patch reader Andrew Wolford of the police caravan heading down to meet Nathan.
