Creator of New TV Program 'Amish Mafia' Hails from Woburn
Tonight is the debut of the former Woburnite's new 'reality TV' program that re-creates scenes from Amish life in Pennsylvania.
Producer Eric Evangelista, who grew up in Woburn, already has a relative hit on his hands with the TLC Network program Breaking Amish. And at 9 p.m. tonight, Evangelista launches a new Discovery Channel program called Amish Mafia.
Evangelista is founder and executive producer of a family-run production studio, Hot Snakes Media. He currently lives in southern Connecticut where he also works with his wife Shannon.
He attended St. Charles Elementary School, and graduated in 1989 from Arlington Catholic High School. Evangelista went on to receive a BA in broadcast journalism from Boston University. Eric also produced, and won an Emmy for, NECN's Sportsworld: with Mike Adams.

Eric's family should be ashamed for the disgusting way he is portraying the Amish.

Agreed. It takes a special kind of scumbag to pick on people who can't or won't defend themselves due to their faith.

The above postings are clearly from the same pathetic individual. I hope Eric does his next show about Amish puppy mills and how the Amish are truly heartless, money grubbing scum who abuse and kill animals for profit and fun.

I think LL and MM are the same person talking to himself. What a total loser to go to all that trouble. His parents must be proud that he can blog critical things about others at 7:58am and 3:43pm when anyone who is not a total miscreant has a job and is working. This guy can't even get a janitor job at a peep show.

Mike & Levi's parents must be so proud of them for having the courage to post insults anonymously on small town blogs,. Their heroic efforts to post defamatory comments on this blog about someone they have never met who has clearly accomplished more than they could ever hope to in their lives is truly something to behold. Clearly they are champions of the Amish people that seem to have never watched the show but are still able to swoop in & right the wrongs against Amish people who will sadly never see their heroic deeds online. They have clearly struck a blow for justice and anonymous cowards everywhere.
