My dream car is the Tesla Model S. I got to ride around Cambridge in one at the beginning of March. It's cheaper than all of the cars mentioned here at $90,000. Here's my experience - http://www.greenlifestylechanges.com/my-dream-family-car-tesla-model-s/

I've driven the SLS AMG but not the GT variant, and the Tesla is ridiculously pricey for something that's only viable as a commuting drone. If you feel that strongly about being green, buy an old diesel and run it on waste veggie oil.

Cars look so alike today, I can't tell one from another. I bet if GM brought back an updated design of its 1957 Chevy, for example, they wouldn't be able to meet the demand. Or, how about two-tone paint jobs on new car models? What the auto industry needs is an infusion of retro designs, with proven sales records, that younger drivers will find "cool," and older drivers will find "hot." Cars are so friggin' boring today design-wise. Just sayin;.

My dream car is a 1955 to 1967 Corvette "Retro Mod"....with a brand new engine, transmission, and all the modern conveniences, like air conditioning....so I'd get the look and feel of an old Corvette, but with the reliability and comfort of a new car.
I watch the Barrett Jackson suto auctions on TV every year, and these Corvette "Retro Mods" typically go for $100,000 to $150,000.

I forgot to add in The 1969 Plymouth Superbird also. Or the 69 Dodge Daytona. we used to go stand in front of Fred F Cains in Wilmington and just stare at the Superbird until they would chase us away! That sloped nose and big wing.... with the big Road Runner decal.... ahhh the memories...

What I wouldn't give to still have my '69 Charger R/T with the 440 Magnum. I let my girlfriend drive it to school one day and she got t-boned at a 4-way intersection. Luckily she was OK but the car was totalled. Sigh!
