POLICE LOG: Chairs Stolen, Left in Parking Lot
Jan. 5—At 11:33 a.m., police responded to a TradeCenter building for a report of a former employee stealing office chairs. According to police, when officers arrived, the chairs were found in the front parking lot. The chairs were returned to the business. According to video surveillance, the suspect is seen taking the chairs, leaving them in the parking lot and then driving away.
POLICE LOG: Gerbils Found Dead in Apartment
Jan. 5—At 11:33 a.m., police responded to a TradeCenter building for a report of a former employee stealing office chairs. According to video surveillance, the suspect is seen taking the chairs, leaving them in the parking lot and then driving away.
POLICE LOG: 12-Year-Old Receives Inappropriate Text
Jan. 10—At 3:28 p.m., police responded to Main Street for a report of inappropriate text messages sent to a 12-year-old. According to police, the person sending the texts may have thought the messages were going to someone else and not a 12-year-old. Police are investigating.
POLICE LOG: Dog Feces Thrown at Children
Jan. 11—At 4:04 p.m., a Woburn woman reported her son was taunted at recess by two boys who were carrying a plastic bag. According to police, the woman said the bag contained dirt and dog feces and was thrown at a group of Malcolm White second-graders. The officer reported seeing brown stains on the child’s jeans and jacket. Police informed the school resource officer of the incident.
POLICE LOG: Jealous Woman Allegedly Vandalizes Car
Jan. 12—At 6:24 a.m., police received a report of a damaged car on Buel Place. According to police, the front windshield was broken with a bat or similar item. All of the car’s other windows were completely smashed in and the tires were flat. The car owner said that it could have been a jealous female friend who vandalized the car, reported police.
