POLICE LOG: Yelling Late At Night Is Illegal

Sept. 3—At 9:57 p.m., Michael D. Reed, 29, of 47R Prospect St. Apt. #102, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. According to police, officers went to Reed’s apartment to conduct a well-being check. When officers arrived, Reed was reportedly agitated and began yelling at them. Reed continued to yell at officers outside the apartment. When officers asked the man to lower his voice, he reportedly asked if “yelling was against the law.” Officers informed him that he would be placed under arrest for disorderly conduct if his behavior continued. Reed was taken into custody and reportedly continued to yell at officers while in the holding cell. 

Marijuana 'Grow Room' Found at Fire Scene

Sept. 6—While investigating the cause of Tuesday's two-alarm fire, Woburn Police reported finding a marijuana "grow room" at the Salem Street home.  

Lawrence Men Arrested at 'The Crack Shack'

Sept. 6—Two Lawrence men with several aliases were arrested Wednesday on drug charges at a Woburn location dubbed "the Crack Shack."

POLICE LOG: Dad Asked to Leave After Delivering School Supplies

Sept. 5—At 10:26 p.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted party on Belmont Street. According to police, a resident asked her ex and his girlfriend to leave after the man dropped off school supplies for their child. Police asked both people to leave the property.

Wilmington Man Arrested After Break-In

Sept. 7—A Wilmington man is facing breaking and entering charges after an overnight break-in at a Commerce Way construction site.
