1. Talent Show: Kennedy Middle School
Where/when: Kennedy Middle School; Friday, April 8, 6:30 p.m.
Why go: These kids have talent! Watch them show it off.
Pricing: $5
2. Wyman School Skate Night
Where/when: Ned O'Brien Ice Rink; Friday, April 8 from 7:20 to 8:20 p.m.
Why go: You can go skating with your kids and their friends, or just watch from the sidelines with your friends. Either way, it's a fun evening for all.
Pricing: $2 per skater / $5 per family
3. Pizza Tasting Contest
Where/when: Sons of Italy; Saturday, April 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Why go: Who doesn't love pizza? OK, there may be some of you out there who don't, but one thing we all love is a good cause. You can enjoy some pizza, and know that you're doing something good for diabetes, by taking part in the pizza-tasting contest. Pizza will be delivered from several local restaurants, and there will also be raffles.
Pricing: $5 / children under age 5 are free
4. Earth Day FestivalYouth Triathlon
Where/when: Spence Farm Mkt Gardnrs; Sunday, April 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Why go: Earth Day is later this month and we'll be celebrating in style here in Woburn. On Sunday, you can take part in the youth triathlon and then several fun activities, like a petting zoo, hay rides, face-painting, a bouncy house, crafts and games.
Pricing: Triathlon $10 / Festival is free
5. 14th Annual American Girl Tea Party
Where/when: North Congregational Church; Sunday, April 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Why go: Your little girl and her American Girl Doll love having tea at home and want to take their party outside.
Pricing: $10 / reservations required
