Father of two was struck by a car in October and died several days later.
The Pop Warner community will come together tonight, to raise money for the family of a father killed by an elderly driver in October.
Allen Fisher, 31, was struck by a car Oct. 9 as he walked across Washington Street after his son's Pop Warner E2 Trojans football practice at Leland Park. He was rushed to Mass General Hospital where he endured several surgeries before lapsing into a coma. Allen Fisher died of his injuries last month.
Tonight's fundraiser will be held at the Sons of Italy on Lexington Street. Doors open at 7 p.m.; tickets are $25 each.
Hosting the event is WAAF DJ Anthony Parziale (Spaz). There will be refreshments, raffles and a silent auction.
About 200 people have confirmed they will attend via a Facebook page set up for the event.
An online account has been set-up for those wishing to make a donation to the family, but cannot be at the party tonight. If interested in donating, click here.
