The following information was provided by the Woburn Lions Clubs:

The Lions Clubs' Horn Pond Day will be held Saturday June 9. Proceeds will benefit Mass Lions Eye Research.

The Woburn LIONS Clubs have joined together to host a wonderful day for families filled with wholesome fun for all ages, and to raise funds that
help Lions Eye Research and the local community covering a wide range of needs and services.

There will be something for everyone, young and old, to do or to view, on Saturday June 9 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Events and activities will take place in
and around Horn Pond and include a bouncy house, crafter’s tables, hot air balloon rides from 9:00-11:30, a dunk tank (see schedule for participants and
times), tarot card reader, kayak rides, live music from four big bands, 4H Club of Bedford, a petting zoo and pony rides, High Striker and Plinko game, face
painting, old time fire engine and hay wagon rides for children and their parents.

A YMCA sponsored fun run and road race begins at 8:30 and 9 AM respectively. Register at www.active.com.

All children are invited to enter their decorated doll carriage or bike to be judged in a parade at 2:30 PM. Call 781-933-2661 for registration information.
Registrations are due June 2.

Baseball’s Lowell Spinners’ Canaligors will be walking around shaking hands to the delight of all.

Fried dough and ice cream vendors as well as Lions food concessions will be available all day.

The Woburn LIONS’ Clubs boast membership exceeding 200 active local LIONS. The larger organization to which we belong, LIONS Clubs International, is the largest service organization in the world, and the only organization that can proudly state: “100% of the net proceeds generated always go
directly to our LIONS Club charities.
