[UPDATE] Woburn Little League Coach Arraigned on Child Porn Charges

Mass State Police arrested 20-year-old Woburn man on child pornography charges Tuesday night.

[UPDATE: Wednesday, 12:50 p.m.]

A Woburn man was arraigned this morning on several child pornography charges.

Raymond McAllister, 20, of Woburn, was arrested and charged Tuesday night with dissemination of matter harmful to a minor, enticement of a child, and posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity.

McAllister pled not guilty. His bail was set at $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety and he was ordered held under house arrest at his parents' home, where all Internet must be removed. He cannot go online either from his laptop or his phone; and he cannot be with children under the age of 18. The state's probation office may search the McAllister home for Internet connections at any time, said authorities. Ray McAllister must wear an electronic monitoring device, if he is released on bail.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office claims McAllister Skyped with a 13-year old boy in Arizona, and asked the boy to disrobe; a sex act allegedly followed.

The DA said McAllister made "substantial admissions" while speaking with police.

According to the DA's office, the charges are "serious" and will likely be pursued at the Superior Court in Woburn.

The 20-year old nodded to his father upon entering the courtroom. Wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt, Ray McAllister stood with a court-appointed public defender.

"This is something we don't agree with," said Wayne McAllister before the arraignment.

"I'm broken," said McAllister's father.

Wayne McAllister said after the court hearing that "My heart is with [my son]."

Raymond McAllister has been a Little League coach, a volunteer at St. Mary's Bible Camp in Winchester, and a jiu jitsu instructor.

Next court date: March 7.

The Massachusetts State Police arrested McAllister Tuesday night.

I really hope he gets the helps he needs. He struggled for a few yrs with his sexuality and with out the support of his parents when he "came out" this is how he acted....glad it wasn't a child closer to home or the case would be much worse..not that this happening to any child is acceptable because its NOT

I think there is a difference between coming out with your sexuality and pediphelia. I find it hard to blame the parents for this one

I'm sorry, but I know many many people that have "come out" and faced many intolerances from their own parents and family members, yet not one of them is a pedophile. I believe that this young man needs extensive help, and to also be penalized face the consequences of his actions.
Whatever this mans emotional or psycological issues may be, and I believe that anyone that can entice a child suffers from one if not both, does not pardon them from their actions. I'm a mother and I have empathy for his family, but I also want to see that this person is never to be allowed to have contact with another child as long as he lives.

F that. A pedophile is a pedophile. If this was a 45 year old man... Noone would be sayn he needs help. It may be strong but i truely believe there is a special place in hell for pedophiles... I dont care if it was on skype... I hope the judge throws the book at him

Regardless if it was hard wen he came out.. theres a big difference between a man and a 12 year old.. he needs to be in prison. I admit i feel bad for his parents. I cant imagine wat there goin thru. But for him.. PRISON JUSTICE
