The City of Woburn will stay under the parking ban in order to give DPW crews a chance to finish clearing the roads.
Don't park on the side of Woburn streets yet.
Mayor Scott Galvin put out a statement last night updating the timing of the end of the emergency parking ban. According to Galvin the ban will now be in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11.
"The City of Woburn has extended its emergency parking ban (no parking on either side of the street) until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in order to finish the work of clearing snow," Galvin stated. "Municipal public lots and school lots are available as an alternative until the ban is lifted."

Not being enforced as usual. Downtown is terrible. Everyone parked everywhere. Some parts of sidewalks aren't even cleaned. Why put a ban if it is not going to be enforced?

What I noticed early during the storm, the trucks did not have chains on their tires while plowing. Leading to the plow truck getting stuck two or three times around the neighborhood, after getting stuck, the street plowing decreased; so, I will give the vendors who plow for the city a “D”
