NJ, NH Women Arrested For Prostitution

New Jersey woman busted at local hotel after allegedly putting her hand down an undercover officer's pants. New Hampshire woman acted in similar fashion, according to police.

A New Jersey woman and New Hampshire woman were arrested on sex charges Friday during an undercover investigation by Woburn Police and the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force.

Kimberly Bethea, 31, of 271 King St. Apt. 323 in Perthamboy, NJ, was arrested and charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee on Friday, Nov. 16.

Lisa Letourneau, 43, of 105 Falcon Crest Way in Manchester, NH, was also arrested and charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee on Nov. 16.

As part of the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force, officers routinely monitor advertisements "to curb the illegal sex trade in the city of Woburn."

According to police, officers found an advertisement for a woman with the name "Destinee" who claimed to be "super busty" and "built for [your] pleasure." Another listing was found for "Taylor" who claimed to be a "sexy vixen."

An undercover police officer contacted "Destinee" and arranged to meet her at a Woburn hotel Friday evening. After reportedly speaking to the woman three times via telephone, "Destinee" offered a sex act for a fee.

In the hotel room, police reported that the woman, identified as Bethea, reached into the officer's pants, at which time he signalled to other officers to arrest the woman on sex charges.

An undercover officer also contacted "Taylor," who said she was staying at a different Woburn hotel. The officer arranged to meet "Taylor" and take part in a sex act for a fee.

Police reported that "Taylor," later identified as Letourneau, took off her clothes and reached inside the officer's pants in the hotel room. Letourneau was arrested by police officers conducting surveillance in the investigation.

Police noted that prostitution is a "quality of life issue... [which is] often associated with drug usage, drug addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, human trafficking, abuse and violence including assaults, rape, and robbery."

For those who believe prostitution is a victimless crime, i note the following as appropriately summarizing the transaction:

"Police noted that prostitution is a "quality of life issue... [which is] often associated with drug usage, drug addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, human trafficking, abuse and violence including assaults, rape, and robbery."

Arrest the johns and publish names and addresses in the paper to act as a deterrent.
