Burlington High to Present 'Hairspray, The Broadway Musical' Burlington High School students will have presentations of the show on multiple dates in March. Opening night is Friday, March 15.

Winchester's $400K Snow Budget Nearly Gone: The Winchester Department of Public Works has used up nearly all of its $400,000 snow budget this winter, according to Director Jay Gill. Of the $400,000 allocated for this winter, only about $12,000 remains, or in other words: About 97 percent of the overall snow removal budget has been used, according to Gill.

Moratorium Proposed For Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in North Reading. On Election Day last year, Massachusetts voters approved a ballot proposal that allows medical marijuana sales in the state, which left cities and towns to set regulations for medical marijuana dispensaries. The Community Planning Commission (CPC) held a workshop Monday night regarding such dispensaries in North Reading. According to Town Planner Danielle McKnight, the CPC discussed proposing a moratorium to residents at Town Meeting in June.

Big Joe's, when i was a kid Big Joe's WAS the best around. Haven't been there for years, but it probably still is the best around. I remember working at Sweetheart Plastics across the tracks from Joe's. We used to get lunch there at least twice a week. The meat pie was incredible! Adios Big Joe!
