1. Ninja Night
Where/When: Peaceful Warriors Martial Arts; Friday, July 29, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Why go: Three words—ninja, games, prizes. Enough said.
Pricing: Free. Registration required.
2. Yard Sales
Where/When: All over the city; Saturday and Sunday.
Why go: Other people's trash is always someone else's treasures. Find your treasures at several yard sales in Woburn and the area.
Pricing: Free (until you find that perfect item!)
3. Charlestown Militia Drill
Where/When: Russell Street; Sunday, July 31, 1 to 3 p.m.
Why go: Check out the Charlestown/Woburn Militia drill at the Tarky School on Russell Street. Members will be wearing period-correct clothes and performing marching manuevers and musket-handling.
Pricing: Free.
4. All You Can Eat Ice Cream Social at the Library
Where/When: Woburn Public Library; Sunday, July 31, 2 to 5 p.m.
Why go: Ice cream, the library, games. Does it get any more fun that that?!
Pricing: $5 per adult, $3 per child. All proceeds go toward the Library Expansion fund.
5. Farmer's Market
Where/When: Spence Farm; Sunday, July 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why go: Get your fruits and veggies fresh from the farm!
Pricing: Free (Except for all the yummy fresh items you'll be buying!)
