The fundraiser benefiting the non-profit organization will be Wednesday, May 18.
If your taste buds are in the mood for some terrific eats and you’re willing to help out a dedicated non-profit serving those with disabilities, then mark your calendars. Wednesday, May 18, NuPath, a leading provider of programs and services for adults with disabilities, hosts its 14 annual “Taste of Spring—a smörgåsbord of delicious tastings from 25 local eateries, raffles, and a silent auction.
“We feel so blessed this year that, despite a less than ideal economy, we have had so many generous sponsors step forward this year for the event,” said NuPath's Executive Director, Sheri McCann. "In addition, this year we’ve got so many outstanding restaurants participating in the event and we sadly had many more that we couldn’t include this year.”
Food varieties will range from Italian to Southwestern and BBQ to Vegetarian. This year’s participating restaurants will be:
2 Forbes–American Bistro, Blue Stove at Nordstrom’s, Bobby C’s, Brazilian Steakhouse–Churrascaria, Rodeo, Dole and Bailey, Dunkin Donuts–Catalano Companies, Fairways at the Woburn Country Club, Focaccia, Green’s Grille and Pub, L’Andana, Legal Sea Foods, Lester’s Roadside Bar B-Que, Masa Southwest Bar and Grill, Not Your Average Joe’s, Nourish Restaurant, Panera Bread, Polcari’s, Rainforest Café, Sam’s Bistro, Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill, Sea Dog Brew Pub, Summer Winter, The Capital Grille, Tryst, and Whole Foods Market–Woburn.
If a host of delicious food offerings from some of the most well-known of Boston-area restaurants wasn't enough, the event also offers up raffles and a silent auction. Prizes and items include: Red Sox tickets, Patriots/Bruins/Celtics memorabilia, many sports items, hotel stays, gift certificates to restaurants, and much more; even a backstage tour through Channel 5.
“A Taste of Spring is NuPath’s major fundraiser for the year,” said McCann. “Proceeds from this event flow directly back into programs and services for our community. We pride ourselves on improving the lives of disabled individuals by providing affordable housing, vocational training and job placement, transportation, and so many other services in order for these individuals to live fully and to become independent contributors in their community.”
NuPath's Taste of Spring takes place Wednesday, May 18 at the Holiday Inn Select at 15 Middlesex Canal Park Road in Woburn. Guests are welcome to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a pre-meal cocktail and start of the raffles. The event runs until 8 p.m.
Presenting and supporting sponsors of this event include: The Beacon Grille, Skyworks Solutions, WB Mason, Landmark Structures, Integrated IT, Winchester Savings Bank, Leonard, Mulherin & Greene, Fred C. Church, and Edward Jones (Bill Sullivan, Financial Advisor).
Tickets are $25 per person. To order tickets, please click here. Tickets will also be available at the door, but will be limited.

This an awesome event, my husband and I went last year with our neighbors and we couldn't believe the food. My husband won us some terrific tickets to several museums in Boston in the Silent Auction and I amazingly won a raffle item! We've got our tickets for this year already.

Blue Stove's offerings last year totally rocked! I couldn't believe what I got to eat for a $25 donation. And I bought raffle tickets - I've never seen so many raffle and Auction items. This organization really knows how to put on a fundraiser!
