POLICE LOG: Breaking and Entering With Tools Stolen, Another Case of Tax Filing Fraud

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.
At 9:45 p.m. police responded to a New Boston Street location on a report of past breaking and entering. Police spoke to the building owner who said he believes the building was broken into sometime between 6 and 7:30 p.m. The building is under construction and not all doors are fully secure.
The owner said when he returned he noticed his tool bag was missing. He also observed a piece of plaster inserted over the lock mechanism to one of the rear doors, prohibiting it from closing. A Vito Pro Pack Tool Bag, 2 Milwaukee Drills, and electrical tester and various hand tools were stolen.
Total value of items stolen was approximately $780
At 6:50 p.m. police responded to a Playstead Ave residence for a report of fraud. The caller stated that when he tried to file his taxes with Turbo Tax he was rejected. He called the Department of Revenue and was told his taxes were already filed by someone who used his name and social security number. The suspect allegedly works for a R&B Reality Group on Los Angeles, CA. Police provided him with a report for his records.
At 7:20 p.m. a Mishawum Road caller reported a hit and run accident on their vehicle while it was parked. Police observed fresh damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
