The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department  log.  Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Featured Call of the Day:

Sept. 5 – At 10:26 p.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted party on Belmont Street. According to police, a resident asked her ex and his girlfriend to leave after the man dropped off school supplies for their child. Police asked both people to leave the property.

Sept. 6 –

At 9:42 a.m., a woman reported her car damaged while it was parked on Presidential Way at her employment. Police reported two small dents and scratches on the car hood.

At 2:35 p.m., Maximillion Landry, 39, of 6 Allston St. Apt. #1 in Somerville, was arrested and charged on an outstanding warrant. Police apprehended Landry after receiving a report of a possibly drunk man passed out at the Anderson train station. Upon investigation, police found an outstanding warrant for Landry’s arrest.

At 3:55 p.m., police assisted a woman with obtaining her belongings from an estranged boyfriend. According to police, the woman said she was threatened by the man and obtained a restraining order from the court. Officers served the man with the order and stood by while the woman picked up the rest of her belongings. Police reported the man was cooperative with police.

At 5:36 p.m., a Woburn man reported his savings and checking accounts were compromised by an electronic transmission in Canada. The man told police that almost $1000 was removed from his accounts.

At 10:19 p.m., a Woburn woman reported receiving a telephone call from a California man stating that he received a suspicious check in the mail from her bank account. The man told her that the check was for $2,200 and he did not cash it. When the woman went to her bank account online, she saw that the check was sent from her account, as was one for $2,500. The other check had been cashed, she reported. Woburn Police filed a report and advised the woman to bring the report to her bank.

At 11:04 p.m., a 50-year-old Woburn man was taken into protective custody after police received a report of a man yelling in an apartment. Police learned the man was intoxicated and was yelling at another person in his residence.  

Sept. 7 –

At 3:10 a.m.., Isaihas Zachery McCaffrey, 22, of 77 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington, was arrested and charged with possession of a burglarious instrument, trespassing and breaking into a depository. For complete story, click here.
