The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Sept. 10 – At 6:42 p.m., police responded to a neighbor dispute on Salem Street. According to police, a parked car was blocking access to the driveway and the officer asked the owner to remove it. Later, police returned to the address because a woman reported two children stood in the driveway and began to “yell and swear, making hand gestures with their middle fingers, and telling her to kiss their [expletive] while they bent over.” Police spoke to the parent and advised her of the children's behavior. The officer asked both neighbors to be civil to each other.

Sept. 10 –

At 6:30 a.m., a Woburn man was cited for a red light violation on Main Street during routine traffic patrol.

At 7:26 a.m., a 66-year-old Woburn man was summonsed to Woburn District Court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. According to police, the man was stopped during school-zone speed enforcement on Green Street.

At 9:09 a.m., police responded to a Unicorn Park building for a report of graffiti. According to police, the letters “KYE” were spray-painted on the carport that faces Route 93.

At 11:20 a.m., a Bennett Street man reported his television stolen sometime over the summer. According to police, the man’s bedroom window was left open while he was out of town for July and August. During that time, the TV was stolen, said police.

At 12:41 p.m., a Woburn business reported several unauthorized charges made with a Home Depot credit card over the last month. According to police, power tools, welding supplies and other items totaling almost $5,000 in merchandise was purchased without permission.

At 12:49 p.m., a Pine Street woman reported four car tires and rims stolen from her driveway last week.

At 1:28 p.m., a custodian of the Trinity Episcopal Church on Main Street reported a stained glass window damaged, as well as a second clear window.

At 1:40 p.m., a Woburn woman reported a former boyfriend opened a line of equity without her consent in 1999. The woman told police she was being sued for several thousand dollars due to the fraudulent account.

At 3:17 p.m., police conducted a well-being check at Library Place.

At 7:49 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Lee Road. According to police, one man had left the area prior to police arrival and was unable to be located.
