POLICE LOG: Man Arrested For Violating Order
An excerpt from the WPD police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. The arrest does not indicate a conviction.
The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Nov. 29 – At 2:21 p.m., Erick A. Atocha, 30, of 48 Lake Ave. Apt. #4, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. According to police, Atocha was seen at a residence in violation of a protection order. He was taken into custody by police.

At 11:01 a.m., police responded to Bryant and Carter streets for a report of downed utility wires. According to police, a truck was backing up when it pulled down several low-hanging wires. Police reported the wires were not “properly rehung” by the utility company after an incident several months ago.
At 11:46 a.m., a Woburn man reported his unlocked car was entered and his wallet stolen. According to police, the man’s credit card was later used without his permission at several bars in Boston.
At 3:52 p.m., a Woburn business reported a lost or stolen payment. According to police, the payment was logged into the deposit system but was not in the safe.
At 4:02 p.m., police responded to Kohl’s for a report of a theft. According to police, video surveillance showed an employee taking money out of a register. Police spoke to the woman who agreed to return the money she had taken. Due to the agreement, the store is not pressing charges, said police.
At 4:20 p.m., a Woburn man reported his car damaged while parked on Allen Street. According to police, the car was scratched by a key.
At 4:41 p.m., an Arlington man reported he was driving on Cambridge Road in front of the 99 Restaurant, when the car in front of him went into reverse and struck his car. The car then fled the area.
