POLICE LOG: Man Reports Fowl Crime, Thief Steals Chicken from Fridge

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.
June 7 –
At 7:03 p.m., an officer reported finding a black wallet belonging to a Woburn resident during a motor vehicle stop. Police have contacted the wallet’s owner.
June 8 –
At 6:23 a.m., police were dispatched to Salem Street to take a report of a breaking and entering to an Aberjona Drive warehouse. According to police, the suspect broke two windows and took several coils of wire, valued at approximately $15,000.
At 11:09 a.m., Devon Gagne, 17, of 106 Woodlawn St. in Lynn, was arrested and charged with two counts of violating an abuse prevention order.
At 11:11 a.m., police assisted a man with a possible domestic incident.
At 11:56 a.m., a Johnson Street resident reported an unwanted party. According to police, the person was yelling and pounding on the Johnston Street door before leaving the area. Police were unable to find the suspect.
At 1:12 p.m., Vicki Lee Kirkpatrick, 38, of 55 Franklin St. Apt. #2 in Peabody, was arrested and charged on a warrant. Kirkpatrick was taken into custody after police responded to a report of an argument on Warren Avenue.
At 2:03 p.m., police found a man who had fallen outside the Oriental Restaurant on Main Street. The man refused medical treatment. Police believe the man fell because of damage to the sidewalk.
At 4:54 p.m., a woman reported her son was threatened on the school bus earlier in the day. Police contacted the student who allegedly threatened the others and learned that there has been an ongoing issue between the group. Police advised the students to stay clear of each other.
At 5:36 p.m., a Continental Court resident reported someone entered his home and stole blood thinner medication and three pieces of chicken from his refrigerator. According to police, the victim reported his phone lines are bugged by the thief, who has entered the home before.
At 5:55 p.m., a man reported another man assaulted him in the parking lot of Buel Place. The victim did not tell police what led up to the fight. Police advised him to seek a complaint in court.
At 6:41 p.m., police responded to an accident in the rear parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Washington Street. No injuries were reported.
At 8:56 p.m., a Woburn man was cited for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and attaching plates after police received a report of a person driving erratically on near Pleasant and Winn streets.
June 9 –
At 3:44 a.m., police and fire responded to a report of a fire in the area of Chestnut and Main Street. For full story, click here.

My Dad was the one who fell in front of the Oriental Restaurant yesterday and I wanted to say thank you to the kind gentleman who stopped and helped him and called the police. We really appreciate it.
