The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Feb. 21-
At 2:55 p.m. police responded to a Sheila Avenue residence for a report of shots fired. When police arrived they observed two motor vehicles in front of the residence, a BMW and a Cadillac. The BWM had what appeared to be blood inside and blood droplets around the motor vehicle and in front of the residence. The Cadillac also appeared to have blood in the passenger side rear quarter.
Police spoke to the resident who was not forthcoming about what had happened. Police searched the place and found nobody needing medical treatment.
At the same time a detective responding to the scene passed a Honda coming from the direction of the scene that had a shattered rear window. Also the driver did not pull over for police and subsequently ran a red light. Police stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver who did say he was in an altercation at the residence. Police searched the driver and the vehicle and found no weapons but there was blood on the passenger door and window, which the driver said was from a gash he had suffered during the altercation.
Neither party wanted to pursue criminal charges.
Other Incidents
Feb. 21-
At 11:02 a.m. police responded to NTB on a report of past theft by an employee. Loss prevention reported that on Feb. 11 an employee sold three used tires to a customer and that he allegedly pocketed the money. After a couple of days the tires were flat and the customer returned to the shop and when the employee saw the vehicle being worked on he left and has not returned to work.
Loss prevention also stated that NTB does not re-sell used tires and they installed new tires at a cost of $251.97 at no charge and would like the employee to pay them back.
At 4:37 p.m. police arrested Keith Edward Flynn, 35, of 52 School Street on charges of assault and battery. Arrest made after a report of domestic assault against a sister and her boyfriend following an argument over the use of a vehicle.
