POLICE LOG: Teen Reported Missing Since Monday

An excerpt from the Woburn Police Department's June 7 police log. The following arrest information was supplied by the Woburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

June 7 –

At 4:20 p.m., police assisted an Arlington man with a civil matter in Woburn.

At 4:28 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Cambridge Road. One driver was cited for failure to yield to an oncoming vehicle while turning left.

At 4:42 p.m., a Woburn couple reported their 15-year-old son missing since Monday, June 6. According to police, the couple said the teen left to see his girlfriend in Medford and has not returned. The teens have been known to run away before, said police.

At 6:58 p.m., police and fire responded to a two-car accident on Main Street at Route 128. According to police, a woman complained of neck injuries after a driver struck her car from behind. The woman was taken to Winchester Hospital by Woburn Fire.

At 7:35 p.m., a woman reported being blinded by the sun while she was backing out of a parking spot and collided with a parked vehicle. Police contacted all parties involved and exchanged paperwork.

At 7:50 p.m., a Melrose woman reported her purse stolen from her locked car while it was parked at the Boston Sports Club. According to police, the woman’s Coach purse and wallet, as well as its contents, were taken. The woman told police that she received a phone call from her credit card company saying that $800 had already been charged to the account at Wal-Mart in Lynn.
