POLICE LOG: Woman 'Blacked Out' Before Crash

Featured Call of the Day:
May 16 – At 2:13 p.m., police responded to a one-car accident on Green Street near Fulton. According to police, a 59-year-old driver told officers she blacked out before the crash. The car veered off the road and struck a pole, snapping it at the base, reported police. The woman was taken to Lahey Clinic. Green Street was closed for a period of time as NStar fixed the pole.

May 17 –
At 10:41 a.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident on Bow Street. According to police, a car was parked in front of the Malcolm White School when another car hit the unoccupied vehicle, causing minor damage. Neither vehicle required a tow; there were no reported injuries.
At 12:12 p.m., police responded to a Salem Street business for a report of stolen materials. According to police, chain link mesh and metal posts were stolen from the yard.
At 12:53 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Brook Road. According to police, one car was taking a turn because of a detour and struck another car.
At 2:01 p.m., a Woburn man reported his car damaged while it was parked in the Market Basket parking lot.
