While local meteorologists are keeping a close eye on Hurricane Sandy, so are Woburn's Halloween Parade organizers.
Bryan Murphy, Mr. Halloween Parade, from the Lions' Club anticipates nothing will stop the iconic Halloween event from happening this year.
"Just as we did last year and the past 57 years...the 58th annual Woburn Host Lions Club Halloween Parade will step off promptly at 1 p.m. on 'Parade Sunday,'" said Murphy.
The parade will be held Oct. 28, the Sunday before Halloween. Last year, snow threatened the parade, but this year, Murphy says nothing will stop the city from celebrating the ghoulish holiday.
"We are not in need of a rain date because we will not cancel, we go forward no matter what," said Murphy.
If you're heading to the parade on Sunday, be sure to take lots of photos; we'll be asking for them! And keep an eye out for the Woburn Patch-sponsored float by the Reeves School!
