Recycling is this Saturday morning at city hall for certain kinds of items.
This Saturday morning at ity Hall is your last chance of the season to drop off stuff to be recycled:
- Tires
- Batteries
- Old light bulbs

Tires, Household Batteries and Mercury Bearing Waste:
Residents may drop off any fluorescent lighting, thermomotor, thermostats, button batteries, or small household appliance batteries to the Board of Health office during normal business hours. We also hold quarterly drives for the above mentioned materials along with tires and car batteries.
Car Tires and Car Batteries:
Car tires and car batteries can be dropped off during our quarterly hazardous waste drive for the City of Woburn. They are held the third Saturday of March, June, September and December from 8 am to 12 noon. All tires and batteries are $1.00 each. This service is provided by Holland Used Auto Parts.
Propane Tanks:
You may take your propane tanks to Xpress Fuel, 505 Main Street (next to The Restaurant).
