The following text was provided by the Woburn Police Department:

The Woburn Police Department wishes to remind the public that Main Street in the area of Woburn Center will be closed to vehicular traffic from about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 11. Northbound traffic will be diverted up Montvale Avenue and southbound traffic will be diverted onto Campbell Street. Cars traveling eastbound on Pleasant Street will be diverted onto North Warren, Arlington Road or Warren Avenue.

The square will be closed during the veterans' memorial services, including the dedication of the new war memorial and will continue to be closed until the appreciation cookout is concluded around 2:30 p.m.

Whereas a large turnout is expected, spectators are advised to arrive early and use public parking in the Walnut Street lot or the Library Field parking lot.
