Main Street convenience store robbed on Saturday night.
Police are investigating the Saturday night robbery of a Main Street convenience store in which the suspects left a trail of evidence.
According to police, when officers arrived, they found the front door of the building had been shattered and opened.
The store’s owner told police he had closed the building at 8:30 p.m. Police found a large rock had been used to break the glass door, and two plastic dispensers of scratch tickets had been taken.

Using video surveillance footage, police found that two male suspects had looked inside the store, then a few minutes later, broke the door and stole the tickets. Police saw the suspects on video run toward a Main Street home, and found several scratch tickets and business cards in the driveway.
With the help of a Mass State Police K-9 unit, police tracked the scent of the suspects to Fowle Street where a business card was located and secured as evidence. The K-9 unit led police to Prospect and Green Street where more scratch tickets were found near the DB Mart.
Police went into both the DB Mart and the Lucky Mart and learned that two males had cashed in several winning scratch tickets.
The MSP K-9 officer told police he believed the suspects got into a car at one of the convenience stores, as the track ended.
Woburn Police are still investigating.
