Philip Cappello, a resident of Woburn, MA, was awarded Dean's List honors for academic achievement during the fall 2012 semester at St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM).
Dean's List honors are awarded to full-time students at SMCM who earn a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or better on 12 or more graded credits.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
