TELL US: From Calls to Mailers, Which Candidate Has Bugged You the Most?

The candidates are into their final push, reaching out to voters in all sorts of ways.

We have just days left until election day, and each campaign is into the final stretch.

In many cases, that includes an overwhelming amount of contact with voters, from phone calls to roadside "visibilities," to flyers in the mail and (what can feel like) endless television ads.

Regardless of your political stripe, you have likely been subject to this. Which part of the final push has bugged you the most? Which candidate have you heard from the most? Tell us in the comments section below.

The phone calls... The mailings go straight into the trash.. But Definitely the phone calls are the most irritating.

The incessant lies and half truths in the Warren attack ads are beneath contempt and obviously very telling of her candidacy. With little credibility and less to show Warren is merely a pawn of The Democratic party. She has no background of directly aiding citizens of MA.

That's odd, because I have received more annoying robot calls from Scott Brown in the last week than any other any other previous candidate.

absolutely, roger - i received a phone cll from the warren campaign recently, and the caller had so much personal information about my parents (she thought i was my mother), it was terrifying. and the fact that her campaign shamelessly used this information to pretend to sympathize with my mother was obscene. the warren campaign calls several times a day, and then i get the mailand there she is again. there's no way i would vote for her. so i gave $ to scott brown, and i think his campaign called twice. i get mail from his campaign, but half of what i get from warren's. the mail really doesn't bother me, but the disgusting campaigning of warren makes me wonder what she'd do in office. "blood and teeth on the senate floor" rather than compromise. i guess she means it. i prefer rational adults, myself.

emails, mailings and calls - multiple times a day every day. We don't answer the phone anymore. emails get deleted but it is annoying to continue to ask to be unsubscribed to something I didn't subscribe TO but the mailers are a waste of paper at this point.
Calls are the worst though since some seem to be disguised as a local number

We dont get phone calls luckily! The commercials were just fast forward through thanks to TiVo. The mailings are a waste since I dont read them. Its a nuisance since none of what they are saying in these ads and mailings are going to sway me either way. Both sides full of lies and half truths.

So sick of seeing Elizabeth Warren's face on the large glossy mailers! They get torn in half and put in the recycle bin immediately. I have not read a one.

DEFINITELY Scott Brown & his lies paid for by the Koch Brothers & Karl Rove. Think, people! We are Wall Streeters do I guess you can say we are voting against our own self interests but we see the sausage being made. However, in the long run more oversight of Wall Street & the banks is a GOOD thing. I know. I'm on the inside & it is scary. We came very close to the precipice in 2008. I never want to go through that again.

Your on the inside? Then you of course know that it was the fools at Fannie and Freddie that caused this debacle with the aid of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. Adding a shamele
ss lying hustler like Elizabeth Warren to the senate will only exacerbate the problem. The so called Wall Street criminals have returned all the money to the treasury. Fannie Freddie and GM will NEVER return the tax payer money.

Scott Brown's transparencies. His "active duty" references, his invented "independent" smoke screen, his "arms length" posture to his benefactor Carl Rove. Screen writers couldn't conjure up a better portrayal of a bought and owned inept politician.

Hmmm you mean like the last mailer to all Sudbury independents saying the Warren predicted the financial calamity 2 years prior? I guess she should have advised Obama - or maybe she did and he didn't listen to her. Falsehoods and over marketing are part of any campaign. I thought that one was particularly humorous.

I've gotten five times the paper mailings from Brown as from Warren. What a waste of trees. Not at all ecologically responsible. Just another reason to vote against him.

Siobhan, maybe Warren did advise Obama but he WAS NOT PRESIDENT before the financial meltdown. So not much he could have done.

As a candidate myself (State Representative, 14th Middlesex (Concord|Carlisle|Acton (1,2,6)|Chelmsford (1,9)) I certainly wish there were better options than expensive mailings, and annoying phone calls, however there is little else we can do (if you have any last-minute suggestions, I'd love to hear them).

It may be different for Presidential and US Senate races, but for the State Legislature, it seems a lot of folks don't pay much attention. I was surprised to meet so many nice, smart people, who couldn't name their State Senator or State Representative. I have found the coverage (of my race) in the local papers to be fair and reasonable; however it was barely mentioned until October. As annoying as these contacts may be to you, I do hope that they are informative and helpful to those who have not given any thought to the down-ticket races.

I have made thousands of "live" phone calls throughout the district, and I happily chat with supporters, and those who may disagree with some of my positions. The most difficult, and disappointing cases are when someone immediately says "I don't know anything about him" and hangs up.

This is the "low information" voter, who chooses to remain oblivious to fresh, new ideas. Is it any wonder we have had such low turnover in the legislature?

You may agree or disagre with me on my vision for Massachusetts, or any of my positions, but I ask you to please be informed before you go to the polls.

Not to be discouraged, Mr. Benn. Personally, I don't mind the calls and flyers. One man from my district called and I was enlightened to his candidacy since I'd never received a flyer. I'm totally in agreement with you about the "low information" voter. Good luck !

As I try to make a genuine effort to accurately inform myself on each candidate's position, nothing makes me gnash my teeth more than those ads whose sole intent is to broadcast all the reasons NOT to vote for their opponent. Um,yeah-really solid, factual info from a totally impartial source. It depresses me to realize how dim-witted they think the average voter is-and it depresses me more to wonder if they are right.

One man remains above the fray.. Burlington(Bilerica, Woburn etc)Senator Ken Donnelly asks support only for others and never for himself. He has been everywhere in this district for two terms now, always a quick responder to any constituent's requests. He is one of the very few selfless electeds.
