T.J. Maxx Asks Shoppers to Help Fight Diabetes

The Woburn Mall store is taking part in the annual Give-A-Dollar campaign until Jan. 22.

T.J. Maxx at the Woburn Mall has teamed up with the Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Fund for the fifth-annual "Give-A-Dollar" campaign.

The campaign gives customers the chance to donate a dollar to High Hopes when checking out at the register from now until Jan. 22.

"T.J. Maxx and Joslin have partnered on this campaign since 2007, raising funds in support of Joslin's mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes," said Denella James Clark, the director of the High Hopes Fund.

T.J. Maxx spokesperson Sonya Cosentini said the store is "honored to partner with our customers to help raise dollars and awareness for the great work that Joslin Diabetes Center does every day."

The Give-A-Dollar campaign helps the High Hopes Fund support institutions that improve the lives of people with diabetes, as well as raise money to prevent and cure the disease.
