VIDEO: Three Officers Sworn into Woburn Police Department
Brendan Maher, Joseph Wells and John P. Connolly pledged to protect and serve the city last night.
The city officially welcomed three new police officers to the ranks last night at the City Council meeting.
In order of seniority, Brendan Maher, Joseph Wells and John P. Connolly were sworn into the Woburn Police Department by City Clerk William Campbell.
All three men have strong public safety ties. Maher's brother is a detective on the Waltham Police Department. Wells' father was a former Woburn PD reserve officer and a 30-year veteran of the Boston Police Department. Connolly is the son of the late Woburn Police Sgt. Paul Connolly.

Good morning, Jack! If you watch the entire video, you will see all three officers sworn in. Officer Connolly's photo is on the main page, but all three men are sworn in on the video. Happy viewing! :)
